Wild Moss is proud to announce a new partnership with STOPS (St. Tammany Outreach for the Prevention of Suicide). Together, we are committed to increasing suicide prevention training, expanding community outreach, and bringing more education and resources to families, schools, workplaces, and faith communities across the Northshore.

This partnership reflects a shared mission: to bring hope, connection, and life-saving support to people who need it most.

Why This Partnership Matters

Suicide is a serious and growing public health concern. It affects families, young people, and entire communities: awareness, training, and open conversation save lives.

STOPS has served the Northshore community for more than twenty years by providing:

QPR Gatekeeper suicide prevention training
Education for students and professionals
Mental health outreach programs
Resources for individuals and families in crisis

Wild Moss will support STOPS by expanding its message, strengthening community engagement, and increasing access to prevention tools and training.

Together, we want more people to recognize warning signs, respond with confidence, and connect others to help.

Inspired by Healing, Faith, and Purpose

This partnership is significant to me on a personal level.

I have lived through seasons of darkness and healing.
I have walked with bipolar disorder.
I have relied on faith during difficult chapters.

Those experiences shaped my belief that every life matters and every person deserves a chance to begin again. Wild Moss was built on that belief. Partnering with STOPS extends that purpose.

Hope is powerful. Community is powerful. Faith is powerful. We want to make those resources easier to find.

What You Can Expect

Together, Wild Moss and STOPS will collaborate on:

Awareness campaigns
Community outreach
School and workplace training support
Mental health and suicide prevention education
A 30 Days of Hope initiative to encourage daily encouragement and resource sharing

This work is designed to reduce stigma, increase preparedness, and build a safer, more connected community.

Moving Forward Together

Wild Moss and STOPS share a hopeful vision for the future. A community where no one feels alone. A community where faith, compassion, and education meet people where they are. A community where life and hope always have a voice.

We are honored to serve together and look forward to expanding this mission, one conversation and one life at a time.
